- Write a release readiness assessment for your current project using the template above
- Identify a past release that should have been delayed. Write the risk-based argument you would use if you could go back in time.
- Draft a conditional release agreement for a feature with 2-3 known issues
- Practice the escalation conversation: pair with a colleague and role-play the "Friday release" scenario
- Review your team's post-mortem process. Does it include a "what did QA know and when?" question? If not, propose adding it.
