  • "I hardcode URLs and tokens directly in my requests." -- Reveals poor environment management practices that break in real teams.
  • "I do not use pre-request scripts because they are too complicated." -- Suggests an unwillingness to handle real-world complexity like HMAC signing or dynamic data generation.
  • "I only test the happy path and assume errors are handled." -- Missing negative test coverage is a red flag for any senior role.
