1.5Event-Driven Communication
Beyond synchronous request-response APIs, modern architectures use event-driven communication through message brokers (Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, RabbitMQ) and webhooks. Events are asynchronous, may be delivered multiple times, and arrive in unpredictable order.
Testing focus: Event processing correctness, idempotency, ordering guarantees, dead letter queue behavior, webhook delivery and retry.
